Bellwood Carpentry LTD. is a small general contracting company based in Toronto's east end. We specialize in high-quality home renovations in the Beaches, Bluffs and Guildwood areas. We take pride in our craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail -- and we're looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team full-time.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced carpenter with a diverse skill set in residential construction and maintenance. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and can balance both technical skill and hands-on labor.

Responsibilities

Safely and effectively operate hand and power tools for a variety of carpentry projects Assist and lead in framing, trim, drywall, and general renovation tasks Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic Perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or general construction Proven experience in residential renovation work (framing, finishing, drywall, etc.) Apprenticeship or Red Seal certification is an asset (experience required regardless) Strong understanding of construction practices and safe work procedures Excellent problem-solving and adaptability on job sites Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are assets Strong communication and teamwork skills
