Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter. This role requires a strong background in various construction and maintenance person tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple areas of construction and maintenance, contributing to a wide range of projects from residential renovations to commercial builds.

Must be able to work long hours and have your own transportation.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction plans accurately. Perform concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation as needed. Install cabinets, flooring, and tiles with precision and care. Carry out construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Conduct assembly work for different components in construction projects. Engage in plumbing and electrical tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide restoration services to maintain or improve existing structures. Execute roofing, siding, and caulking duties as part of building maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to support project requirements.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics. Strong skills in carpentry, woodworking, concrete forming, masonry, and flooring installation. Experience with CNC machinery is a plus. Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning. Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in the industry. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Previous maintenance person experience is highly valued. Basic plumbing and electrical experience is preferred but not mandatory.
