Carpenter Team Lead

Full-time

L'Ile-Perrot, Quebec


As a Carpenter Team Lead, your job is to efficiently run the day to day operations on job sites and manage a team. You take pride in your work and will assume responsibility for all your projects by keeping the worksite clean and safe while executing quality jobs in a timely manner. You treat all your clients and team members with respect at all times. GSM Construction provides all the tools, plans and materials necessary to complete each project. Management will be available to provide support when needed.


Must have a driver's licence or transportation access to changing job sites.

Available to work the occasional Saturday when necessary.


As a Carpenter Team Lead with GSM, you must be:

Knowledgeable in the following areas: Decks, wood fences, small renovations (kitchen, bathrooms, basements, etc.), custom shed and garage builds A problem solver Focused on safety and quality. Capable of leading a team A strong and professional communicator with clients; able to answer job related questions

Qualifications

Carpentry school completion or 5 years of leadership experience in the field (More than 5 years of experience is considered an asset) Able to read plans Can operate power tools Produces quality woodworking * Possesses finishing skills.
