Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be efficient working alone or with the team. This role involves finish carpentry, renovations, decks, roofing and small new construction. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Construct and install finishing materials such as doors, casing, baseboard, railing, wall caps, window boxes, built in storage units, etc. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Install vinyl plank or laminate flooring. Carry out wood projects such as deck framing, decking, basement framing, framing additions and detached garages. Be able to remove exterior windows or doors with minimal damage to existing finishes and replace with a new window/door and reinstall the old finishes. Assist with preparation for other trades to be able to their job as efficiently as possible.
Skills

Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns. Experience in flooring installation techniques for various materials. Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints accurately. Knowledge of standard building procedures and be willing to adhere to HODA's protocol. Expertise in fine finish carpentry.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
