Job Description

Position Summary: Currently, we are seeking a trained and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter position is responsible for conducting duties on the rebuild portions of our jobs for both commercial and residential properties. The Carpenter works under the general direction of the Project Manager to plan and complete the assignments of a project in order to meet the timeline goals. Carpenters are responsible for performing varying tasks from drywall, to installing finishing items such as baseboards, casings and doors. Pay rate varies on experience and proficiency in relevant skills. Eligible for benefits after one year.

General Responsibilities: Demonstrates skill in the safe operation of shop tools. Practices good housekeeping discipline on the job to ensure a safe, non-cluttered workplace. Adheres to company policy and standards at customer sites.

Experience in the property restoration industry is an asset. Skills & Knowledge Required: Must have a valid driver's license. Pride of workmanship and attention to detail. Practical knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance. Practical knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. Ability to communicate in a respectful manner with clients and Project Managers. Strong sense of responsibility. Able to deal with unexpected situations calmly and effectively. Good at problem solving and conflict resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
