Duties

Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials. Execute trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and stucco application as needed. Conduct rebar installation and masonry work for structural integrity. Participate in roofing, siding, and flooring installation projects. Carry out water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks. Handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job site. Assist with fixture installation, door hanging, and caulking duties. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects and construction painting. Demonstrate maintenance person experience across multiple disciplines including plumbing and electrical work. Fabricate components as required for specific projects using CNC machinery when applicable.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry and restoration. Strong knowledge of construction processes including metal stud framing, tile laying, and assembly. Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites is essential. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. A valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations.
