Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter as well as skilled labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves working on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial constructions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Ability to read/ understand blueprints Extensive knowledge of power tools and how to use them well Steel roofing experience is an asset Comfortable working at heights Scaffolding experience Strong work ethic Reliable Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians, to interpret schematics and ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong work ethic Ability to work alone or lead others . Familiarity with cladding and metal works Experience in caulking applications for various surfaces. Clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.84-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
