Job Overview

At Tench Plumbing and heating we are searching for a skilled carpenter who is responsible, able to work in a team environment or alone and is motivated without supervision. This is a full time position. This role would include and not limited to carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting while working in residential, condo/rental units and retail. This role would include time to time helping with the team.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, drywall and wallboard Perform tile laying for flooring and wall applications Restore existing structures to maintain safety and aesthetics Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations. Carry out heavy lifting as required during construction projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.

Skills

Proficient in carpentry techniques including installation, restoration, and fabrication. Ability to perform tile laying with attention to detail. Capable of heavy lifting and physical endurance for demanding tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration on job sites. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 60 per week
