Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our construction firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and general construction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from restoration and siding to cabinetry installation and flooring, Concrete, formwork. You will be responsible for executing detailed tasks with precision, utilizing a wide array of tools and techniques. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work with attention to detail Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, siding, and perform roofing and siding repairs as needed Conduct construction painting, caulking, and finishing work to meet project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently Assist with framing, drywall installation, woodworking, and general carpentry tasks Execute plumbing and electrical installations in compliance with safety standards and codes Estimate materials and labor requirements for various projects using construction estimating techniques Complete heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols Support the assembly of structures or components as required for project completion Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution Extensive experience in concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, woodworking, roofing, siding, and tile laying Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material procurement and project planning Skilled in rebar installation, framing techniques, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, and restoration work There will be some travel involved if required Looking for an individual that is looking for a career with Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of construction work Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for versatile task management across different projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
