We are a general contractor that provides pre-construction, design-build, and construction management services for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients, we specialize in tilt-up construction.

SUMMARY:
This position is a vital part of the construction team which designs, constructs, repairs, and maintains structures using various types of materials and is responsible for the full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, construct, remodel, retrofit and repair interior and exterior structures made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete or brick
Work with instructions and/or blueprints from Site Superintendent
Utilize chisels, planes saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures
Join materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
Work on top of stilts, ladders, and top beams of buildings
Check work progress to ensure that it meets quality standards, codes and specifications
Use levels, rules, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure
Work with pre-fabricated buildings
Build stairs and other structures
Create structures for pouring concrete
Erect scaffolding
Install partitions, doors and windows
Ensure all safety standards are followed when working on construction sites
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years' experience as carpenter in commercial construction (inlcudes rough and finished carpentry)
Red Seal or equivalent interprovincial ticket
Must be open to performing physical activities (Lifting equipment up to 50 lbs)
Demonstrated ability to use manual tools and equipment safely
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Valid BC Driver's License
Have a personal vehicle as you will be assigned to different sites for work
Have carpentry hand tools (belt, tape, hammer, square, level, etc.)
Completed Fall Protection Training
MEWP Certification and Skidsteer/Telehandler Certification is an asset
