We are seeking an experienced and versatile Carpenter with strong skills in both rough framing and finish carpentry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing building frameworks and structures, as well as executing high-quality interior and exterior finishing work according to blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications and calculate material requirements.
Build, erect, and install structural frameworks, including walls, floors, and roof systems (rough framing).
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials using hand and power tools.
Install fixtures and trim items such as doors, windows, stairs, baseboards, crown molding, cabinets, and hardware (finish work).
Inspect and repair damaged framework or other structures and fixtures as needed.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople to meet deadlines and budgets.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, including proper storage of tools and materials.
May supervise apprentices or other construction helpers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter with a focus on both residential/commercial framing and finishing work.
Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.).
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, methods of installation, and construction.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and building plans accurately.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is often preferred.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required for travel to various job sites.
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including standing for long periods, bending, crouching, and crawling.
Physical strength to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (up to 50-75 lbs).
Comfortable working at heights and in various indoor and outdoor weather conditions.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
