We are searching for the right candidate to join our dynamic team at Visture Property Group as a carpenter. The right candidate for this position will be eager to learn and open to growing their knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. You must have a positive attitude and be solutions focused for client happiness and business success. This role is very autonomous and will afford you some flexibility. However, you must be a self-starter and eager to improve yourself. You must be a decisive individual that can review the facts and make a decision and is willing to learn from your and our mistakes.

Maintenance Worker Description

We are hiring a carpenter to join our maintenance and construction team. To do well in this role you should have previous carpentry, renovation and construction experience. You should be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Carpenter Responsibilities include b

uilding foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring, framing walls and roofing systems

. Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. Installing drywall as well as mudding and taping.

Worker Requirements:

Some carpentry experience is an asset Skilled in the use of and access to hand and power tools. Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, drills, and wrenches. Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. Strong organizational and follow up skills. Eye for detail. Professional presentation and attitude. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Strong time management skills.

Requirement

We require approximately 20-40 hours a week of work. A driver's license and a vehicle is required.

$20/hr base pay up to 40/hr pay
