Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Utilize hand and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations Determine layout and installation procedures Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
