Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Tasks
---------Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Support for newcomers and refugees
--------------------------------------Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous people
---------------------------------Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English * Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
