Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual for the position of Carpenter. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a commercial residential project, ensuring quality, precision, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.

Measure, cut, and assemble steel studs for walls, ceilings, and partitions.

Install tracks, studs, and related framing components securely and accurately.

Ensure structures are plumb, level, and square.

Collaborate with other trades and team members to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.

Follow all company safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

Skills:

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good teamwork and communication abilities.

Time management and ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications (Required):

Proven experience as a

steel stud framer

or in a similar construction role.

Strong knowledge of framing methods, materials, and tools.

Ability to read and understand construction plans and technical documents.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience

in steel stud framing or a related trade.

Safety certifications such as WHMIS or Working at Heights (asset).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
