Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on a variety of construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings, where attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Install baseboards, shoe-molds, kitchens, hollow-core doors Utilize hand tools such as saws, hammers, and chisels effectively. Operate power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints or schematics to determine project specifications. Assemble cabinets and other furniture pieces according to design plans. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.

Skills

Strong tape measuring knowledge Strong knowledge of drywall installation processes. Familiarity with masonry work including brick and stone applications. Competence in using various hand tools effectively. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently. Capability for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed on job sites. Skill in assembling furniture and cabinetry with precision. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for project execution.
