Carpenter - Maintenance/Construction

Piruqsaijit Ltd is a Property Owner and Management company with residential and commercial properties in Canada's northernmost territory of Nunavut. We are currently seeking a full- time experienced carpenter to perform a variety of duties in the Hamlet of Rankin Inlet.

We are looking for someone with these skills:

- Installation of windows, doors and trim

- Knowledge of building and construction and ability to install flooring,

mudding, painting and framing

- Building landings and stairs

- Attention to detail.

- The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.

- The ability to work well with others and independently.

- Physical skills like lifting, bending and carrying.

- Ensure all safety protocols are followed.

These are the qualifications you should have:

- Journeyman Carpenter

- 2+ years experience

- Comfort working in high-stress environments with extreme weather conditions

- Valid class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract

Work schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Some evenings and weekends

- Overtime
