Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a solid understanding of carpentry techniques, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Construct, install walls, Ceilings and cabinets using wood, metal, and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Fabricate custom pieces as needed for specific projects. Assemble furniture and fixtures according to design specifications. Perform flooring installation and tile laying tasks as required. Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Provide maintenance person services as needed for various repair tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus. Strong skills in assembling various structures and fixtures. Ability to perform tile laying and flooring installation tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
