to join our team completing innovative timber-framed, legacy structures for a project near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Your Role & Responsibilities



As our Crew of Carpenters, you'll be instrumental in bringing our innovative timber-framed structures to life. The Lead Carpenter will lead a small crew and provide hands-on carpentry expertise for a project running from

December to February near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In the Apprentice Carpenter role, you will assist and be mentored by the Lead Carpenter. In the Carpenters Helpers role you will assist with labour and learning basic carpentry skills.

Installing shop-cut timber structures, CLT panels, and glulam (Mass Timber) in the field. Completing a full range of carpentry tasks: cutting, measuring, fastening, framing, and finishing European & North American style timber frame structures and trusses. Leading and mentoring a crew of 3-5 people, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Assembling trusses and timber frame components on-site. Accurately laying out timber structures on job sites. Executing detailed designs and layouts. Assisting with applying joinery to timbers. Ensuring all project requirements align with specifications. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications with precision. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.

What You Bring:



We're looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction and a passion for timber framing.

Qualifications & Experience:



5-10 years of experience fore the Lead Carpenter role in construction and framing. 1-4 years of experience for the Apprentice or Helper Carpenter role in construction and framing Carpenter certification (Journeyman or equivalent) is an asset (for the Lead role only). Prior experience in timber framing and rigging is an asset. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. Travel outside the Bow Valley may be required.

Certifications (ideal and some required):



Zoom Boom operator's license Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certificate Manlift Operator's Ticket Fall Protection ticket Standard First Aid certificate WHMIS certification
