Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

Perform frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation as required by project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, siding installation, and roofing tasks as needed. Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts when necessary. Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials on the construction site. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Participate in fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and other related duties. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

Experience with woodworking, fabrication, assembly techniques and finishing. Familiarity with rebar installation, metal stud framing, plumbing, masonry, electrical experience, and construction painting. Strong knowledge of caulking techniques and stucco application. Previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus. Ability to perform maintenance person tasks effectively across various trades. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Capability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong communication skills. Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
