Lead Carpenter - Decks, Renovations & Custom Builds

Northern Cardinal Construction is a growing, quality-driven construction company specializing in

custom decks, fences, renovations, and detailed woodworking projects

. We take pride in clean job sites, clear communication, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

This is

not

a general labour or "just show up and build" position.

We are looking for an

experienced, licensed carpenter

who can take ownership of projects, lead by example on site, and represent our company professionally with clients, trades, and crew members.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leading deck, fence, renovation, and custom build projects Maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and site cleanliness Coordinating work with apprentices and other crew members Communicating professionally with clients on site Identifying issues early and helping find solutions Representing Northern Cardinal Construction with professionalism and integrity

Requirements

Red Seal Carpenter

or minimum

5+ years experience

Own PPE, personal tools, and reliable transportation to the shop Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract (company vehicles provided) Ability to work on various job sites within ~45 minutes of Kingston Strong communication skills and a professional appearance Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons

What We Offer

Full-time, year-round work (Monday-Friday)

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
