We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenters to join our team. These positions are ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in carpentry and construction. We are looking for both entry level and individuals with experience. A reliable vehicle is a must as our service area is from Tantallon to Dartmouth. Pay will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform tasks related to drywall installation, caulking, masonry, and tile laying as directed. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Help with construction estimating by measuring and cutting materials accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials is a plus Ability to understand schematics and technical drawings is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced carpenters. Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing manual labor for extended periods. A reliable vehicle is a must as projects are all over the HRM with many sites not close to public transit

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
