General Carpenter

to join our crew and contribute to a wide range of projects.

Responsibilities

Perform general carpentry tasks including framing, trim, cabinet installation, doors, windows and siding. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications when necessary. Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively. Assist with demolition, site prep, and installation of structural and finishing components. Collaborate with project managers, trades, and other crew members to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and safe job site.

Qualifications

Some carpenter experience (residential or commercial). Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with both rough and finish carpentry. Physically fit with the ability to lift, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights, OSHA/CSA equivalents) & Red Seal Carpenter certification considered an asset.
