Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Carpenter General Foreperson's for work across Calgary and surrounding area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday

What You Will Be Working On
Direct and coordinate the work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Monitor the quality of work and materials to ensure they meet project specifications
Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment to support project progress
Provide regular updates to project managers on progress, issues, and potential delays
Address and resolve any on-site issues that may arise to keep the project on track
What We Are Looking For
Valid Alberta Journeyperson Carpenter Certificate or Red Seal endorsement
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in concrete formwork, with at least 2 years in a General Foreperson or leadership role
Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and commercial construction practices
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Proficient in reading blueprints and using layout instruments (e.g., laser levels, transits)
Valid CSTS-2020, WHMIS 2015; Fall Protection, AWP, and Confined Space Entry tickets are assets
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
