Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Person to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills, including blueprint reading, trim, cabinetry, restoration, exterior service work and various carpentry disciplines. This role offers the opportunity to work on small and large construction sites for condominiums, utilizing both traditional hand tools and modern power tools. This person will play a critical part in ensuring project quality, safety, and timely completion through their expertise and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Perform Interior and exterior renovations of all kinds Service Work / Small repairs Utilize hand tools, power tools and other equipment to complete various construction tasks efficiently. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes. Conduct restoration work on existing structures to improve durability and aesthetics. Measure, cut, assemble, and install building components with attention to detail. Operate heavy machinery for lifting and moving materials safely around the job site. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members to estimate project costs and timelines when required.

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution. Extensive experience in Condo repairs and service work Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning purposes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites. Handyman experience across multiple trades is highly desirable. Journeyman or 2nd / 3rd year apprentice welcome Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.39-$34.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
