Joel Friesen Homes (JFH) is seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our residential home renovation company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, finishing carpentry and other related carpentry tasks. Experience in residential construction and renovations will be an asset.
Responsibilities
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in finishing carpentry and/or framing
Strong knowledge of residential home building and renovation procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring a timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards
Self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
Strong leadership potential with an interest in taking on a supervisory role.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with woodworking techniques and cabinetry installation.
Electrical experience or plumbing skills are a plus but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
