Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a New Construction and Renovation Specialist. This role requires a strong background in various construction trades, including carpentry, masonry, and general maintenance person skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction and restoration projects. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Perform concrete forming, including pouring and finishing concrete structures. Execute restoration projects with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results. Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, and siding as per design plans. Conduct construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines. Participate in roofing projects, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed. Apply caulking for sealing joints and gaps in structures to improve durability. Perform heavy lifting as required during the execution of tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on job sites. Provide basic plumbing and electrical support when needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, or general maintenance person work is preferred. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics are essential. Familiarity with flooring installation techniques, tile laying, cabinet installation, and restoration processes is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to construction tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required by the job demands. Knowledge of construction estimating practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship on all projects.
