Job Summary

RW Construction Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our growing team. This role involves a broad scope of hands-on construction tasks, from framing and finish carpentry to drywall boarding, tile, cabinet installation, and general repairs. Ideal candidates are adaptable, experienced, and take pride in producing high-quality, detail-oriented work across a variety of job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair wood structures including framing, doors, trim, and cabinetry Install drywall, apply patchwork, and perform basic repairs Lay tiles/ floors, assist with concrete forming, and perform other finishing tasks Read and interpret construction drawings, scopes, and site instructions Perform general / skillled labour and handyman work (e.g., hardware, fixture installs, patching) Safely lift materials, operate tools, and handle jobsite equipment Collaborate with site leads, other trades, and clients to meet project timelines Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Qualifications

3+ years experience in carpentry or general construction Strong understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques Experience with drywall, tile, and cabinet installations Ability to perform physical labour including lifting, loading, and ladder work Competent in reading blueprints and basic schematics Professional, dependable, and able to troubleshoot on-site issues Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Bonus: OFA Level 1 or Fall Protection certification
