Sardis Contracting LTD located in Chilliwack is currently looking for a experienced carpenter.

Must have skills of Reading, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures. Work will be outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must adhere to WCB safety standards and follow site specific safety requirements.

Ability to take initiative and be proactive on the job progress Capable of completing physical work, including heavy lifting of 50+ lbs Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials and installation practices common to carpentry trade Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards and regulations Possess high problem solving skills Possess professional customer service skills Driver's license Basic hand tools Open-minded, sharp, and detail-oriented team player with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and communicate with team members, consultants, subtrades, suppliers, and clients. Possesses analytical thinking skills, including the ability to gather, understand, integrate, and synthesize complex information, enabling the development of solutions, recommendations, or action plans. Strong focus on learning and understanding the high-performance building science installation details and methodologies specific to our projects. Working knowledge and experience in interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Some cabinet experience a must Drywall finishing a must Demonstrates the proper use, care, and attention to tools and equipment. Excellent time management skills, capable of working independently without direct supervision. Ability to work effectively in all climatic conditions, displaying good manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina. Sound understanding of safety policies and a commitment to safe work practices.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
