Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Tasks
---------Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites Instruct apprentices Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Operate CADD and other computer software systems
