Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial construction. The Carpenter will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Tasks

Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites Estimate costs and materials Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
