Carpenter Apprentice
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist experienced carpenters in various construction projects, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the field.
Duties:
- Assist in the construction and renovation of various projects
- Learn and apply forming, framing and finishing techniques
- Gain experience in ICF, insulation and vapour barrier
- Operate power tools under supervision
- Utilize hand tools for various carpentry tasks
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn carpentry skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience or interest in construction
- Familiarity with electrical work
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques
- Proficiency in using power tools
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
