Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team for FEDEX.This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods while providing exceptional customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle and operations, allowing for flexibility and independence in your work.

$4 per package.

Average daily packages 60-80.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations. Perform moving tasks that may include heavy lifting and loading/unloading of materials. UPTO 40 POUNDS. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and inquiries during deliveries. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse. Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license with clear background. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with logistics operations. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the nature of the job. A background in moving services will be beneficial for understanding the nuances of transporting goods safely.
