Job Summary

CML Properties is seeking a Caretaker for Pioneer Haven, in 100 Mile House, focused on safe, affordable housing. The successful proponent should be familiar with the Residential Tenancy Act and perform a variety of administrative and caretaker duties.

Primary Responsibilities

Janitorial and basic maintenance tasks including but limited to basic plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, general clean up around the building and garbage area, yard work and keeping the sidewalks free of leaves and snow.

Must be familiar with unit prep which would include cleaning, cleaning fridges, stoves, floors etc. Administrative tasks would include maintaining a daily log, rent collection, bank runs, showing and renting suites and contractor supervision.

The successful proponent should be upbeat, friendly and have a familiarity with computers.

Must be bondable and provide CRC.

Education

Apprenticeship in general contracting work

Work Experience

A minimum of 3 years' experience in property maintenance

Personal Skills

Effective communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Ability to lift up to 25 Kilograms

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
