About the Position

The Facilities Management department requires a responsible and conscientious individual to join their team.

Position Details

The successful candidate will provide all aspects of caretaking including, but not limited to: floor care, carpet care, washroom care, operating all types of cleaning equipment, laboratory, classroom and office cleaning, and furniture moving.

Required Qualifications

Basic knowledge and experience in all aspects of caretaking/janitorial work Good communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Physically capable to handle job duties as assigned Comfortable working at height over 5 feet Comfortable to be trained to run caretaking equipment as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Cleaning experience in a post-secondary education, hospital or the hospitality industry

Salary

AUPE Class Level 2, Step 1 at $16.87 per hour
