Caregiver/patient Attendant
Job Description
Caregivers/Patient attendants required for Pictou County / Antigonish area. Applicants must have the right to work in Canada. Applicants must be willing to drive between Antigonish and Pictou County. Looking for caregivers/patient attendants to provide all aspects of personal care in client homes and sometimes facilities. Part-time and casual positions available.
Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Meal preparation & grocery shopping
Light housekeeping
Companionship
Medication reminders
Respite for family or other caregivers
Essential Qualifications:
Home Support Workers can apply
Other interested applicants can have a Continuing Care Assistant Certification or PSW certification, or be a recent graduate /currently enrolled in a CCA program.
Nursing and/or CCA students can apply
International Students in Canada with a Nursing background can apply
Must have CPR/First Aid Certification within 3 months of hire
Must obtain Criminal Background Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
Must have a reliable vehicle
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
