Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children while engaging them in educational and fun activities. This role requires a strong commitment to caregiving, creativity in planning activities, and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning Maintain cleanliness in play areas and ensure that toys are organized and safe Provide care for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed Teach basic life skills through fun and interactive methods Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a babysitting or nanny capacity is preferred Skills in cooking and meal preparation to provide healthy options for children Experience in cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment conducive to play and learning Familiarity with caregiving techniques, especially for children with disabilities A background in teaching or tutoring is a plus, enhancing the educational aspect of care
