Job Description

We are currently recruiting for two Personal Support Workers to assist a private female employer who is non-weight bearing, and uses a power wheelchair.

The employer is passionate about gardening, and loves her garden.

Location:

Victoria, BC (near Reynolds Park)

Shifts and Hours:

One caregiver for:

Saturdays: 9:00pm - 11:00pm Sundays: 4:00pm - 6:00pm and 9:00pm-11:00pm Mondays: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

One caregiver for:

Monday - Fridays 9:00pm - 11:00pm Availability to cover morning shifts 7:30am-1:30pm

1 caregiver cannot work both sets of shifts, CG must work Saturday - Monday OR Monday - Friday.

Compensation

$25.50 an hour to start $30.00 an hour after training

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Personal care such as urostomy care, dressing, and toileting Assist with bedtime routine Meal preparation Light housekeeping duties such as laundry, and taking the employer's dog out

Qualifications:

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with all updated shots (first 2 doses and 5-7 boosters) and continue to get the seasonally

Must have the most recent Flu vaccine and willing to update seasonally

Valid Canadian driver's license and vehicle Comfortable wearing a mask Non-smoker Must be comfortable working in an environment with a 25lb dog, and taking them outside Must be comfortable with incontinence care Availability to cover morning shifts 7:30am-1:30pm is an asset

Pay: From $25.50 per hour
