Job Description

We are currently recruiting multiple Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer with Spinal Muscular Atrophy - Type 2 with personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

She loves going out socializing, watching movies, is an avid book worm and a massive harry potter fan.

She is looking for a friendly caregiver with positive energy who is capable of being a companion and helping her to live independently.

Location:

Surrey (Near Nichol Estates Park)

Available Shifts:

Saturday and Sunday : 4-Hour shifts (1 caregiver for both shifts) Start time to be determined with employer

Compensation:

$25 per hour

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

All ADLs, personal care such as showering, dressing, bowel routine Tube feeding, medication assistance, suctioning, bi-pap support Going out in the community to complete errands and socialize Laundry, vacuuming, change bedding Ceiling lift transfer (sometimes cradle carry lift)

Requirements:

1 to 2 years Caregiving experience Ability to support with hair and make-up Non-smoker Tube feeding experience an asset but can be taught by employer Someone who enjoys socializing and willingness to support client in the community Class 5 DL - Willingness to drive Accessible Dodge Van
