Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker to assist our male employer with ALS,

to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

Location:

Surrey

Available Shifts:

Monday to Sunday: 7:30am to 3:30pm days to be determined with employer

Compensation:

$23 per hour

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

Assist with personal hygiene, including toileting and showering Administering medication PEG tube feeding Tracheostomy care and Suctioning repositioning and transfers (there is a ceiling lift to assist)

Requirements:

RCA/HCA or nursing background is a strong asset Completion of Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program (PROP) an asset or willingness to take the course Experience with clients using assistive Communication Tech One year caregiving experience is required

Experience with suctioning machine is required

Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 (including the 2024 booster dose) and have a current (in the last 12 months) Flu vaccination due to the client's condition
