Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our female employer with Friedreich's Ataxia, with all activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, on time, and like cats.

Location:

Richmond, BC (Near Lansdowne Mall)

Shifts and Hours:

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays 8:30AM - 12:00PM/1:00PM (4-5 hour shift) Training for morning shifts available Ability to cover sick, vacation, and holiday shifts

Compensation

$23.00 per hour to start

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Meal preparation, warm up meals and serve Assist the employer in her power wheelchair Assist with exercise Light housekeeping duties Assist with bed preparation using a portable lift/transfer into bed

Qualifications:

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with the most recent booster (2025)

Must be comfortable working in an environment with cats

Experience with mechanical transfers

required

Healthcare/caregiving experience an

asset

Willingness to be trained

Legally able to work in Canada

required

Ability to cover sick, vacation, and holiday shifts highly preferred

Good command of English

Pay: $23.00 per hour
