Job Description

We are currently recruiting a couple of Personal Support Workers for our male employer, who is a T5 Paraplegic, with all activities of daily living.

His hobbies include watching the NFL and going outside. He previously enjoyed woodworking.

Start date: November 1 , 2025

Location:

Qualicum Beach (Near Salamander Pond)

Shift & Hours:

Monday to Friday: 10am to 1pm (one Caregiver Saturday to Sunday: 10am to 1pm (one Caregiver)

Rate:

$30.00 an hour

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Personal care including but not limited to showering, and toileting Assistance with lift transfers Assist with Physiotherapy for hands and shoulders Clean and maintain Ostomy and catheter Light housekeeping Meal preparation Accompany and assistance on outings and medical appointments as needed

Required Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 driver's license

Personal vehicle to commute with

Comfortable working in an environment with a medium dog

(required)

2 years of caregiving experience for someone with a physical disability

(required)

Nursing or other formal education

(preferred)
