Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a few Personal Support Workers to assist our male employer, with Quadriplegia, with all activities of daily living.

Our employer is looking for someone who can support with duties such as bowel care, showering, and dressing.

Location:

Port Moody (Near Community Ventures Society)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Sunday: 9:30am to 2:30pm Tuesday and Wednesday: 9am to 2pm

Compensation:

$23.00 per hour, increased to $23.50 per hour after probation

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Daily personal care such as showering, dressing, bowel care, Condom Catheter care Range of Motion exercises Assistance with transfers with the use of a ceiling lift Light housekeeping, such as assisting with laundry and help with errands Meal preparation

Required Qualifications:

No use of heavy perfumes or creams Non-smoker Caregiving experience an asset Fully vaccinated Driver's License (Class 5) an asset Physically fit to assist, especially when it comes to supporting the client while bathing
