Job Description

We are currently recruiting for 2 Personal Support Workers to assist our male employer who has CP with all activities of daily living.

The employer enjoys all things sporty and having his Support Worker be a companion who will watch baseball and chat about life.

Location:

North Vancouver, BC

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Monday, and Wednesdays: 6:30am - 3:00pm Friday, and Saturdays: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Compensation:

$23.00 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Daily personal care such as showering, grooming, and dressing assistance Ceiling lift transfers Light housekeeping duties Grocery shopping Assistance with driving to appointments and remaining with the employer during them

Required Qualifications:

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

(2 doses minimum)

2 years of caregiving experience Condom catheter care experience Class 5 Driver's license and vehicle

MANDATORY

Ability to drive the employer to appointments and out in the community Willingness to complete a COVID-19 test prior to meeting and training Calm demeanor and understanding when to be there for the employer
