Job Description

We are currently recruiting Personal Support Workers to assist a male employer with a Traumatic Brain Injury, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

The employer is a positive and happy guy who likes TV, swimming, sports, and music. Someone with a good sense of humor would be perfect for this opportunity!

Location:

Nanaimo (Near Beban Park)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional on call day and evening shifts available

Compensation:

$29.00 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Cueing and direction through all activities of daily living Take the employer on outings Keeping the employer safe Taking the employer to the pool ROM exercises

Required Qualifications:

Class 5 driver's license and personal vehicle required Health Care Assistant certification preferred Experience supporting the employer with Traumatic Brain Injury and Mental Health required Willingness to be trained Good sense of humor Must be a non-smoker and does not use weed Must have no history of injuries Must be able to support the employer with swimming
