Job Description

We are recruiting multiple Personal Support Workers for a female employer who is Quadriplegic who requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living. Her hobbies include following the CFL and attending BC Lions games!

Location:

Maple Ridge

Shifts & Hours of Work (multiple caregivers being hired):

Monday to Friday: 8am to 10am Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 5pm to 7pm Saturday: 8am to 12pm Sunday: 8am to 10am

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Morning Shifts: 2 person transfers (Hoyer), showers, dressing/undressing, peri care, indwelling catheter, meal preparation, light house keeping, phone calls, laundry, wound care, range of motion, and personal hygiene Morning Shifts until noon add on: hair washing and drying, full laundry routine Evening Shifts: cat care including litter, meal preparation, ear and throat administered medication Night Shifts: 1 person transfers to bed (Hoyer), dressing/undressing, catheter care

Required Qualifications:

Driver's License and Personal Vehicle required Comfortable providing Cat Care Previous Experience with Care for Quadriplegic Clients Previous Experience with Hoyer Transfers CPR and First Aide certified Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 Must live in or within 30 minutes of Maple Ridge
