Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Workers to assist an elderly couple, with Parkinson's and Dementia/Stroke Survivor , with all aspects and activities of daily living.

Employer is looking for candidate who is punctual, attentive to client, self-motivated, calm demeanor, mindfulness regarding calling In, scheduling time off, requesting changes

Location:

Delta (Near Sungod Recreation Centre)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Sundays - 4PM to 9PM Mondays - 1PM to 9PM Tuesday and Thursday - 7AM to 1PM

Compensation:

$25 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Personal Hygiene care, such as assisting them showering, dressing, toileting routine including peri care Meal preparation and feeding Light housekeeping duties Transfer assistance Monitor client and environment Medication and Blood Sugar tracking

Required Qualifications:

Must be fully vaccinated Must be on Time for the shift hours Accurately report hours 3 years of caregiving experience required Valid First Aid certification Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle, as the location is not close to the SkyTrain Willing to undergo Criminal Record Check Should understand how to complete forms and timesheets and scan them using a phone Preference will be given to individuals who are fluent in English and Punjabi or Hindi (preferably Hindi) Able to work under employer's and Team Lead's direction
