Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and care for individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in the client's condition to appropriate personnel. This is full-time contract position

Skills

Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or senior care is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia care and hospice care techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate caregiving. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Capability to perform cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment for clients. Familiarity with meal preparation that meets specific dietary needs. Understanding of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
