Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety in a home setting. This position requires a nurturing attitude, patience, and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and well-being.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed for client comfort and safety?
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Skills
Experience in Senior care is required.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers.
Valid CPR & First Aid Certification required.
You can provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening;
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, providing tailored support based on their unique needs.
