We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice, and home care environments. Senior lives 25 minutes SW of Calgary in the country (Priddis/Millarville). A home with amazing view.

MUST speak and understand English clearly, Senior is hard of hearing and cannot understand accents!

MUST be able to work weekends, this is not a Mon to Friday day shift. It is evenings til 9:30 / 10pm and 2 full 13 hour days.

Yes you need to be able to cook and have no allergies or dislikes to any food.

Duties

Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Offer companionship and emotional support to clients Use of bed to wheelchair transfers Document care provided and communicate effectively with other caregivers. Follow all safety protocols related to infection control and patient safety

Qualifications

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care is preferred Knowledge of senior care, and working with people with disabilities is advantageous Ability to perform caregiving duties including medication administration and light cleaning / laundry Physical ability to lift heavy loads and assist with mobility needs Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus but not required Must be patient-focused with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
